Son Heung-Min has been one of the best players in the Premier League for some time & this guy's weak foot is almost as good as his strong one. The xG/shot is very similar and so is the shot volume from both his feet. A ruthless assassin & the shot-map shows add to why.

Penalty data by foot in the Top 5 leagues - 14/15 to 20/21 🎯 Not much difference between the conversion rates & the save rate (1%-2% margin). There’s really nothing really to say that left footers are awful penalty takers.

Left-footers should never take penalties. I've seen no data on conversion rates but their posture makes it entirely predictable where they're going to most of the time, and that's typically across body because most left-footers play with limited angles and infield (left backs).

Had a look at shot-stopping in the Premier League. • De Gea’s shot stopping has improved despite his other weakness (cross claims etc) still being evident. • Mendy is elite but does he faces low-quality shots often. • Schmeichel’s hasn’t been at his best either lately.

Looked at the influence of dead-ball situations in the Premier League & the Bundesliga. Liverpool along with West Ham are two of the most productive teams from dead-ball. In the BuLi, Freiburg seems to be very efficient in dead-ball situations.

I don’t think we’d be in a title race if it wasn’t for Alisson. The best keeper in the league this season & by some margin. So manu crucial 1 v 1 saves that could’ve altered the game state. Even one yesterday where he saved one from Hwang Hee-Chan at 1-1. Liverpool POTS for me.
