Ichiro had over 200 hits a season 10yrs in a row. Scored 100+ runs 8yrs in a row. Hit .300 or higher 10yrs in a row. Had 30-56 SBs 10 out his his 1st 12yrs in mlb. His 1st 12yrs in the league he never went on the DL once. He is underated, not overated. He was a rookie at 27.

Yankees have first world problems: Peraza has the same exact tools & minor league success rate as Carlos Correa. When Peraza came up he played flawless elite defense & all he did was hit .306 with an on base % of .404. He even started games in the playoffs. Yet fans want Correa.

What does longevity have to do with it. Mattingly was the best 1B in baseball in the era that he played. The Hall of Fame is a joke. Plenty of guys only there because of longevity stats as opposed to the best of the best.
