I got a result back from TOEIC exam. well, I’m glad that I got over 800. part of me isn’t still satisfied with this result bc I’ve been studying it aiming for over 900. I decided I’ll take it again early in October and definitely will take over 900!

だいぶ大人になってから分かったことなのですが「健全」な関係というのは、少しだけ冷たく感じるものなのですね。べたべたした境界線の侵入もなく、刺激的でもない。不健全な育ちをしてきたから、人との距離感が分からず何度も失敗して学びました。

薬袋先生のリーディング教本は最初、問題集ばかりやってた私にはとっつきづらくて「ごめんね私達距離おこう…」って1年くらい避けてたし、読んでたら寝落ちして枕になっていたこともあったけれど、本当に本当に凄い本で英文を丁寧に細かく日本語で解説して英文法と読解のブリッジってイメージ。

I really liked langtwt/studytwt community cause it’s wholesome and encouraging, but if Elon removes the block feature, then it’ll be more toxic (like, I’ve seen couple dramas on feeds and it’s unfortunate you can’t even avoid the harmful people)

As a Japanese person, I’m sooo tired of seeing “dark side of Japan” marketing tbh. Generally, Japan has a good reputation and expectations are too high. hence, it’ll be more views attributing to big money if influencers sell the gaps by throwing lights on negative sides.

On a rainy day, I was on the bus listening to my favorite song and noticed the reflection was so beautiful in rain, so I took some pictures though no one on the bus didn’t. It made me feel happier because I’m the kind of person can find the beauty in things so easily.

明後日は、祖母の法事だ。訃報を聞いて泣き崩れたあの日から2年経つけど私は全然なりたい自分になれてない。亡くなる前に祖母が母に「〇〇ちゃんはまだ英語勉強してるの？頑張れることがあることは良いことね」って電話してきてたから、多分最期まで心配してくれてたんだろう。
