It’s always very fucking telling when white cis women cry about Roe v Wade and are ‘so shocked’ that this has happened. When in reality, we have been having a conversation about bodily autonomy in both the UK & the US for the past 5 YEARS under the guise of debating trans people.

I had the privilege of judging the @roundhouseldn poetry slam heats this year, alongside Antosh Wojcik and Gboyega Odubanjo. I am so very deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Gboyega was truly one of the greatest literary talents and poetic voices of our generation. We (1/2)

Insane. 1. Casting is a creative process and should depend on the production and the director (e.g. the all-female version of Posh or the race-swapped casting of Hamilton) 2. This literally calls for 1 rule for trans/NB/GNC people and 1 rule for everyone else

On my way to an award show tonight, waiting at the bus stop. I overhear a construction worker, “A leaflet about, what is it called - Trans pride? I said no, you lot make me fucking sick.” We make eye contact, but he walks straight past me. My heart stops but the world continues.
