Today I finished my Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, hiking 413 miles (662 km) from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela. I often bristle at being put in the box of “disabled veteran,” but this month was a reminder that disabled is not synonymous with incapable. Buen Camino everyone 🤙🏼

And no, it was not the fault of pro-Palestine or Israel protesters, the former of whom were only seen en masse around the end of the ceremony, outside, protesting in an entirely peaceful fashion, as the First Amendment gives them every right to do so.
