Once I was getting robbed after school at the bus stop, (which had happened multiple times and had my front teeth punched out by a 30 year old)
And the Chinese couple ran out of their restaurant with bats and beat them away. Awww loved them!❤️ they protected their community .
@dapperlaughs
its so weird cos it was online at the time everywhere about the grooming and photos of the young boy. It's nuts that people were calling him a hero.
@MichaelRosenYes
I hate them Ofsted people .I was working in a special needs school.Offy was told not to do anything much as to disrupt, as class would already be hyper and confused -he was there .Got laptop out with sounds on- class went crazy. Then proceeded to report - no behaviour management!
Working class voices in theatre are so unrepresented , that all there is, is either caricature or totally false performances.
Unfortunately, because that is all that has been fed, people become so used to it, it’s starts to be seen as the norm. Most plays have middle class

Being born in that family has made him live comfortable beyond most peoples wildest dreams and afforded him a great career out of no skills or talent . Time to pay the piper
Someone contacted me today to say that I led a workshop TEN YEARS ago that had led them to go to uni. she’d ‘made personal life choices’ and was inspired when I said ‘it’s never too late to do this’ . She’s from Mitcham and wants to improve the area through dance and drama❤️
Shout outs to all the artists, producers, facilitators,directors ,performers theatre companies who have kept anything going during these MAD TING times.Don’t know about you, but seeing other people staying positive and lifting each other up ,make it more bearable.
Before I got properly involved with theatre , I was was getting arrested , had a criminal record and was quite lucky I wasn’t caught for other shit. I -would have gone away for a long time. It gave me direction, a community and a shelter. It was life affirming . What the fuck

being 15 years old last year. Well - I find it pretty impressive that I kept sessions going on just travel expenses and jobseekers for a time -
and we are still going !! I guess I’m not the right
I’d love to see more working class people and voices in the stage . Listen to their stories . But not told for middle class people. Our stories. Imperfect. Character flaws. you can’t save us. Sometimes you can’t save yourself. It’s ok. We are smart . We have heart.
Major props to the people in theatre, born in london , with no money or support and still pushing your careers.
It’s not easy , and a miracle you
make anything . We see eachother out here on these roads!
Council estate kids out here doing bits!
I have known the most amazing beautiful people, who lacked the confidence to be artists because of their background. .It's sad to see, because we need them. We need their ideas and voices. Their stories and vantage point. Can we please encourage each other. thank you
Agreed it’s disgusting. But theatre is only for young and middle class - and they gonna try and uphold that to the fullest . Because many working class people are only able to get their shit together In their late 20’s early thirty’s . Perfect way to keep the filth out.

It’s painful for me to put my legs straight together sometimes / most times. Nothing about ‘taking up space’ . The planes make the seats way too small.
My little sister is having a hysterectomy today due to a serious health condition. Please pray for her or have positive thoughts . Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🙏
So. Grief. It’s something else. Just hits you and once it’s triggered it’s hard to snap out of it. It’s awful. Lost too many people in quick succession and anything can just trigger me. Anyone else have ever experienced the same? It’s shit.
It doesn’t feel like adult behaviour
I keep questioning why I feel so utterly depressed at times - and then am reminded that I have lost three family members and a years worth, and probably more, of work in under a year. And breathe in. And out. And in. It’s never going to be ok. It’s just going to be manageable
@muscleforlife
Well. I run for an hour a day and do weights for an hour a day minimum 5 days per week for over 20 years (minus Covid) and look like a sack of shit. My diet is all over the place but I understand deficits and macros . Genetics play a pretty big role.
Working class people in art , are supposed to be perfect , and we aren’t allowed to experiment and explore like other artists . You are lucky to have this opportunity-
It has to be amazing now.
This is worse when intersected with other races. I was reminded this when working

When life gets hard, and everyone else seems like they got their quicker , remember the private schools they went to, the parents helping them , the family contacts. We actually killing this .
Theatres need to STOP advertising ‘accessible’ performances . This should be ALL performances and the culture which should be encouraged. The more classical Shakespearean one. Where there would be noise , drinks served , lively , people.
For the fans of new modern idea,

One of the loveliest , and something that I believe is vital , things that I’ve been part of - is the create course
