If u have capital of 5 L and you are trading straddle or strangle - 2lots, then to make 1% a week all u need is to capture is, 20 points per lot per day in BNF & 10 points per lot per day in NF (Including brokerage) Think simple πŸ‘

My experience Time Based Straddles(TBS) is Random Shit & Yes, u can make money if u r disciplined and keep risk under control. Points to be note: 1) Just keep UR over all risk under check 2) Don't allocate 100% capital for TBS (I've alloted 30% capital)

I had planned a backtest yesterday @7pm . But after office hrs I had to take my family out fr a function. Came back at 12 (night). Opened laptop at 12:30 & completed the planned task by 3 am. I am again in office at 9:30 am If you like something you give time to it, not excuses.

Increase your capital to that extent where you don't need see how much % return you made... With big capital it's all abt the absolute number and not the % return... We are not in any competition where the person with highest % return will win...

Closing with 30.2%net profit for calendar year.. Gross PNL is arround 42%.. All Friends N family accounts where my algo is running has 2.4% avg monthly profit.. Max dd in my account 4%(due to some experiments).. Max dd in all other accounts is 2.9%.. See you in 2024.
