Announcers don't seem overly concerned with Kaprisov's health, as if it's just an everyday occurrence in the NHL that knuckleheads can target young skilled stars.

Best @MavHockey team I've seen in my 20 years covering the team. Just a machine at times with several veterans who came back to try to get to a Frozen Four and win a national title. Sad to not see them get that opportunity now.

Amazing season for the Mavericks. It's disappointing to lose the title game, but this was one amazing year, from the UMass series to Hockey Day to a 5th straight MacNaughton, a crazy Mason Cup final, a regional win a Hobey Baker and a national runner up.

With the WCHA regular season officially over, @MavHockey 's Dryden McKay is the league's goaltending champion for the third time in a row. He had a 1.07 GAA in conference play. Also a .945 sv% and played the most minutes of any goalie in league play, FWIW.
