Very true, Nazi Germany was the first! country to ban vivisection. A law imposing total ban was enacted in 1933 by Göring as PM of Prussia. Under the Animal Protection Act it was forbidden to mistreat or handle animals in a way that would harm them. Force-feeding fowl was banned/
