1. Lander's Restaurant / Miller's Pub, Chicago. Alfred Alschuler Inc., 1937 (Lander's facade). It's hard to believe, but Miller's Pub (est. 1935) has only been in this location since 1989. Nifty streamline moderne, Lander's Restaurant opened in the Hartman Building in 1937.

feel like it’s gone way too under the radar that there’s 1) an amazing Kara Walker show at the @DuSableMuseum (until Oct. 16), and 2) it’s a rare chance to get inside the incredible, Burnham-designed Roundhouse (maybe the first time since 2017?!) #towardcommoncause
