I was reading up on The Menu recently and found an interview with cinematographer Peter Deming where he revealed the very first shot of the film is stock footage. Didn't notice when I saw the film but it's pretty clear once you know. Stock footage is indoors among other things.

This is so weird. People keep arguing they saw Shazam with the throne scene in it, but we cut it early on. Never finished vfx/DI and the music is taken from another scene. It's only ever been a deleted scene released as an extra. I don't think we even had it in test screenings.

The Suicide Squad was so much fun! Wish I had seen it in a theater but we’re still shooting so I had to see it in two sittings at home. Only a few weeks left until wrap on Shazam 2 though. Can’t wait to go to cinemas again (Dune!). Last I saw in theaters was Color out of Space.

Watched SHAZAM as I was attracted by the copy “looks as adult, kid in mind” I was getting bit tired of hero movies these days but was new to me & enjoyable. High quality movie handling with layers of loneliness, power(hero) & seriously depicting family while giving the laugh.👍

I once talked to a writer who had pitched a Detective Chimp movie. His take was that the intelligence came and went. So as a normal chimp he'd tear a person apart, then when he got smart again he'd be like "my god, there's been a murder here!" and he'd start investigating.

@GraceRandolph We shot the scene with Taylor to figure out what coverage we then needed to get with Gal since she couldn’t make it to Atlanta. It’s also Taylor’s body with the wizards head on it. There is absolutely no deepfaking going on. When you see Gal it’s 100% her.
