Porque la ciencia es importante? Para por ejemplo saber que ese operativo tiene cero impacto en la transmisión de Dengue… claramente nadie pensó en la ecología del mosquito ni en la dinámica de transmisión y no preguntaron a los que sabían (o los ignoraron)

@William77798030 No, porque aedes aegypti no está asociado a espacios verdes como los del video. Ponen huevos en recipientes, no en aguas estancadas (charcos) o lagunas. Fumigar en espacios verdes puede impactar en otras especies de mosquitos pero que no son vectores de Dengue.

@William77798030 No, porque aedes aegypti no está asociado a espacios verdes como los del video. Ponen huevos en recipientes, no en aguas estancadas (charcos) o lagunas. Fumigar en espacios verdes puede impactar en otras especies de mosquitos pero que no son vectores de Dengue.

#Chagas is also an urban problem but often overlooked. We studied house infestation in a rural-to-urban gradient in an endemic municipality of the Argentine Chaco region. You can read out it here: @bugbittentweets @_luciarp_

@fbsisti @chaquetumate Una de las razones porque pusieron aire acondicionado en el labo donde hice el doctorado, no fue para que trabajáramos en condiciones razonables en verano, sino para que el -70 que teníamos aguantara el verano 😑
