I walked past my neighbour's house & smiled at the little boy waving to me in the window, but l rushed off as l was in a hurry to collect my son from the childminders. She told me my neighbour had picked my son up as we had prearranged. I'm not sure he's ever forgiven me.

The only bird my elderly cat Marvin has caught recently flew into an upstairs window, stunned itself and landed on his head. Marvin was very pleased.

Lost in Frankfurt, a kindly German person walked me to my destination. When l came out (hours later, it was a museum) he was walking past. We laughed & laughed.

Marvin is kind & when my husband got cancer sat on his knee every night. Marvin pulled him through. He's an old boy now but still as gentle as ever.
