First under par round since 2018 today and could have easily been the round of my life. 70(-1) 16/18 GIR 7 birdie putts inside 10 ft 5 full lip-outs Honestly the best single day with approach play I’ve ever had.

Well I’m a little bummed. Had a shoulder injury last fall that I thought had healed up. Unfortunately it’s been getting progressively worse as the golf season has gone on. Hitting pause on golf for at least a couple weeks. Appt with the ortho next week to find out more 🥺

@AndrewRiceGolf I think one underrated aspect of Jordan’s short game is being a natural lefty and playing righty (Phil is the opposite). Being able to have the lead hand/side controlling the clubface more with the short game is very beneficial imo

Played the tips on NCR North today. Sneaky hard course all the way back, especially in the wind. Par 70 - 6800 72.5 rating/122 slope Shot 78 with a lot of strokes thrown away on stupid errors. Clean up practice time this week.

Best round of the year by far today out at Miami Valley GC. Birdied 17 to get back to -1 and had to battle the under-par demons for the first time in years. Sprayed it way right off the tee and made bogey for even par 71. Lots of smiles and lots of learning. ⛳️

Tee sheet is jam packed at NCR today so it quickly turned into a nice long practice session. Spent about 90 minutes with the putter and wedges dialing in some scoring issues. Finished up at the range to check in on setup.

What an absolutely beautiful afternoon out at Moraine. Barely saw any golfers around us the entire day. Holed out for eagle from 55 on #8 to go to -2, and then had the red number scaries. Bogey-Double the next two holes with 3putts. Overall pleased with a 75 for the day ⛳️

This weekend will likely be the pinnacle of my golf summer. Close friend flying in from NC tomorrow morning. Moraine - Friday PM NCR South - Saturday early PM NCR North - E9 after South Sunday is TBD with an early PM flight out of Columbus. Yay golf! ⛳️

The 6th hole on the South Course at NCR is an absolute beauty. This reachable par 5 forces you to make a decision: - take on all the green side bunkers - lay up to the bottom - lay up on top Dick Wilson was in his bag when he designed this course.
