When building a niche website, think in steps🪜
I always start my websites by focusing on longtail kwds (< 10 search vol.) that have low-competition signals.
Why ? To build Topical Authority before going after more competitive, higher volume, kwds.
🇬🇧🇺🇸EN SEO community : don’t buy backlinks, they’re evil.
It’s against Google guidelines and you’ll be penalized one day …
🇫🇷FR SEO community : here’s my new backlinking service 🍾🎉 backlinks start at 10€ !

"Hotels with pools"
Killing it ! The guy who created this, created several other websites "Luxury hotels", ...
- programmatic SEO
- targeting very long tail keywords
- affiliate marketing with
Deleted Elementor on most of my websites.
And migrated to Gutenberg.
📉 Cost Reduction
🚀 Performance signal improvement
Also it seems Google Bot was crawling a lot of Elementor URLs like "/plugins/elementor/core/editor/data/" 🤔
(crawled / not indexed).
In the last 18 months I've signed up to a few courses on niche websites.
Here's what I think.
Disclaimer :
I'm not an affiliate or sponsored to promote their courses.
Didn't create this thread in exchange for visibility on my tool.
$99K per month only from ads, with no link building.
"Proper keyword research is by far the most important aspect of building websites."
Note: they publish a LOT of content.
I'll show you the strategy for one of my niche websites and how I use LF for it 👇
One month ago I did kw research and published the set of related articles 2 weeks ago.
Most are already ranking in the top 3 pages.
How to extract a maximum number of keyword ideas from Google Auto Suggest 💡
Some of you might not know this but depending on the position of your cursor, you get different keywords.
Cursor at the end :
I recently discovered a directory - - dedicated to a European city.
It appears to just be a collection of data scraped from Google Maps.
What's their business model?
They charge businesses, per month, to be listed in the top 5 of each category.
Are you still filling in the "Meta Description" tag ?
I've stopped doing it a few months ago.
Too much time spent (and not sure of the impact on CTR).
I let Google manage it automatically.
If you enjoy Reddit posts, you might like this one:

Bookmarked it two years ago but still has lots of interesting stuff (don't agree with all of them though).
Google says the reason your page is not indexed is because of content quality : "It's just not worth it".
But many websites with scrapped / AI / low-quality content are getting indexed fast, with keywords ranking at the top.
So, what are they doing right ? 🤔

1️⃣ Technical
Scaling has proven to be one of the most difficult technical challenges encountered in 2023.
It's not the same when you have a small number of users or when you have millions of rows in your database.
Building
Something we see a lot in 🇫🇷 SERPs.
A ton of media that have no "EAT" in the area they write about but rank at the top for "best" type of content, with average content quality.
It's been like this for a few years and it's increasing.
Example :
A good example of Google's algo these days:
Keyword: Best WordPress Hosting
#1
: Random newspaper that has no "EAT" about WordPress and no good links to pages.
Pure parasite SEO.
Below that: Well-respected sites with tons of high-quality content & links on the topic. 🤔
Are people still using AnswerThePublic ?
Just checked and number of questions are pretty limited 🫤
Tried with : chocolate => got 80 questions.
817 questions with LowFruits.
Yesterday evening, I spent 1-2 hours checking technical things on this website 👇 (it was hit in May 2022).
I discovered that some plugins were creating internal errors so I recommend you check your logs too.
Impressive traffic 🚀!
- Targeting PAAs
- Massive amount of content
Instead of the classical : "How long before collapses ? 😅", think of the keywords you could target too with your website.
There are some easy wins in there.
Don't sleep on Google Autocomplete.
Found a relevant, trending keyword in Jan using Autocomplete. 3 weeks after publishing, we rank 1st page & drive dozens of clicks/day. This is supposedly a 0 volume keyword.
If it's on Google autocomplete, people are searching for it! 🔍👀
Relaunching one of my niche websites.
Found this competing website :
Low authority but high traffic (feature soon available on LowFruits)
=> must be doing something right
Found all the gems its ranking on (many forums)
I'm amazed others in the niche haven't found these yet
Testing "first draft" on
This is good 🤯
Passes Copyscape but might need to test on a more advanced plagiarism checker.
Reminder : it's free and unlimited for 48 hours, starting now !
Found a few interesting keywords (with several weak spots).
Niches ?

If you don't have time for kw research, stay tuned as I'll probably sell these packs end of next week.
Stay tuned 🎉🚀
I’m not sure I understand this Google Update…
My websites that have like 90% « best … » type of content with medium content quality have been on the rise 📈
And the info website I wanted to focus on in August which already has good content is getting out of the SERP 🥲
For months, I have been suffering from tendinitis in my right hand.
A few days ago, I got this new ergonomic mouse, and it has already been a tremendous lifesaver.
"The Power of doing Nothing" 💪💪
My website was penalized in May 2022 for unknown reasons, despite using only white hat techniques and hiring good writers.
But now, it has come back to life without any action on my part.
Anyone saw something similar in the last few days?
This is what happens to websites that don't receive updates for a while: they suffer a slow death.
If you know you won't be working on a website any longer, it's better to sell it. I've made this mistake too many times.
Anyone here doing local SEO?
There's a new [ ] operator in the KWFinder that might of interest to you.
For example, if you're searching for keyword ideas around roof repairs in various cities across the US, you can use the following search term:
roof repair [us_cities]
Choose a niche you're passionate about.
It'll 10x your results and you'll build something (a brand) you're proud of.
Makes it all easier to sell down the line.
Interesting website.
In one year, the estimated traffic grew from 0 to 1.4 million (ahrefs)
> Massive amount of content (900 000+ indexed pages in Google)
> Around 125 (natural ?) Dofollow links, with a DR > 5 (out of 951 in ahrefs)
> A ton of ads 😅

I spent several hours analyzing over 50 before-and-after SERPs.
I wanted to better understand what it was about, and if I could find a pattern.
Here's what I got.
This is purely based on manual analysis, and my conclusion is just a theory 🤣
So I received this email saying they want to buy 1 backlink on this niche website I have.
I said no.
They replied we can offer 400€.
I said no.
Just got another email: "we can offer 700€".
Feels very dodgy🤔
🏝️ This website simply doesn't care.
They even created an email list.
If they get hit, they'll send emails offering Maldives deals and continue to make money.
I've subscribed to various newsletters on niche websites and SEO.
Once a week, I dedicate time to
#bulkreading
them all.
Here are the emails I received today👇
Do you have any newsletters you would recommend? 👀
I came across an interesting website in the

Curious about why the growth was so significant in December ...
Both Google and ChatGPT rely on content creators.
Google incentivizes them with AdSense.
IMHO, ChatGPT will need a comparable reward system to continue functioning.
If the number of keywords in your niche is limited, SEO might not be the best channel for you.
A few years back, I was competing in the "beer box" niche.
Very limited number of keyword ideas in that space (beer boxes).
Affiliate was the

acquisition channel.

Been testing different variations of "allintitle" (top 3, top 10, top 100) on my websites and found some real "low fruit gems".

Thanks for the feedback.
Getting search volume from the get-go is something I'm working on :)

I'm still at step 1: feeding it with long-tail / low-competition keywords.
18 articles.
The last one was published 2 weeks ago.

Very interesting AMA Reddit thread (initially shared by

From a guy who created one of the 'PAA question/answer spam sites'.
"I don't make these sites for ad revenue. I'm creating them to do what I call "fishing for keywords." 🎣
What impresses me with the site of Morten (Passive Income Geek) is that the homepage of his website is probably the simplest of all and yet the traffic (and earnings) keeps on rising.

The design is great, and the images are top-notch. Nicely done!
Get into a niche you know very little about?
I highly recommend you attend a workshop.
Did this two years ago for a website on soaps and learned a lot.
In 2-3 hours I learned more on the topic than I could have through Google searches.
Adding new content to your website after a long period of inactivity can have a “reset” effect, and give a boost to older content.
The old content was dead for nearly 2 years
Once I started adding new articles, the older pages began to rank again!
