1/3 to begin I’m sick of former GAA players , Inter county coaches and experts on Twitter .. going on about Kids sport.. it should be back , it’s safe , mental health etc .. I work as a Full time sports coach in schools .. YES kids sport is safe in that environment . 25/30 kids

Set a target back on Jan 1st to run the Ballintotis 4mile in April ..great idea at the time as I thought I’d be stone lighter and running 5k a few days a week ..Ah that didn’t really work out 😂.. after a bad day today I said feck it and signed up and ran it tonight #wrecked

After watching the 2 Junior and Intermediate Club hurling finals tonight ..the negativity about Cork Hurling is wrong .. both @StCatherinesGAA and @castlelyonsgaa played above themselves to reach the final. No 25 and No 50 Cork clubs v No 13 and 25 Kilkenny club .. enough said

3/3 training and the Car park full of parents .. must have been 100/150 Adults chatting in groups and mixing ..no social distancing .. So yes bring back sport but as Adults it’s up to us to Act in a safe manner ... Stay in your cars .. and maybe the kids get to play for longer

2/3 having fun running around .. the trouble comes in at club level .. it’s not what happens on the pitch ..it’s the parents gathering to collect the kids make it unsafe .. I was in GAA grounds last year just after our 1st lockdown where 3 pitches were full of boys and girls

5 weeks ago I set myself a target to run a 10km today . so I set off training 2 weeks in tore my calf muscle . no training done since. Physio told me on Tues not to do it .a stone heavier than I wanted. I set off with Damien today and got it done .. time was slow but who cares

Day 55 .. headed out early today .. lovely day for it .. I actually ran a bit of it today .. getting there … hope to be able to Run a 5k by the end of March still on target .. ish😂😂. Anyway I’m in Killarney now heading to see @PaulHeatonSolo with @deirdreobr #100daysofwalking
