As Carlos family had no money to pay for a good coach at 15, IMG paid half of it and Ferrero reduced his honoraries in half to make it happen. Good article with quotes from Carlos agent.
I need you guys to get serious. He's got 3 slams and more than 5 million followers. We need a fucking logo, merch and some decent kits. Get to fucking work.
Carlos and Nike already signed his contract renewal for the next decade. He will make between 15 and 20 million annually. Nike is already working on his logo.
People complaining about this type of question need to unclench. Carlos is a fun guy, he loves those types of questions. He's not Ribakyna. Put him immediately in a good mood.
Good loss for Carlos. Important to not get overworked before the big tournament. Thigh is already bandaged, let's not play with that. Now, let's get Wimbledon!
Alcaraz: The finals are there not to be played, but to be won. A bad start doesn't mean that you will lose the match. If someone wants to beat me on the 5th he will have to be at an incredible level.
The ATP will keep promoting Sinner until he's a huge star on his own just like they did with Carlos. You are fans of maybe one of the most marketable players ever. Stop the crying, please.
Glad Carlos lost early. Playing Queens after playing 20 hours in RG is too much for me. Playing 4 days in a row to win a 500 before a slam should not be on Carlos list. Let's play some exhos next week and let's repeat in WB.
The most important thing about this tournament is not getting injured like last year. No one remembers but Carlos was close to not being able to play Wimbledon last year.
Wonder how Carlos is doing this without Ferrero.... Thought that he needed someone talking to him all match because he can't think? Just shut the fuck up.
Honestly, an awful AO. Almost no good matches on the men's side. Only Murray running like an old man was the highlight of week 1. And the week 2 was just putrid. The sooner we can put this past us, the better.
Ferrero in the speech to Carlos before the match: Is this your dream? Then go get your dream. It's not time to be afraid, you were born to be in this type of match and you are going to fulfill your dream today.
Carlos says that he's watching Federer and Murray videos to learn how to move and play on grass. Says that sliding like Djokovic is not possible for him.
Carlos : I've had a great time on my holidays with my friends, I need to get away from my racquet to play my 100% when I'm on it.
My movement on grass not as good as last year but I'll get there. I know how to play on this surface now.
I find it both hilarious and desperate how people have Alcaraz as the favorite for the Wimbledon final against a man who is 7/8 in Wimbledon finals and is playing his 35th Grand Slam final.
I could even understand putting Carlos as the favorite at RG, but Wimbledon?
Ferrero: In a match against Caruso when he was 16 yo, he did so many dropshots that I had to forbid him making them, and then 2 points later, he did another dropshot. He told me that he was sorry and he couldn't stop himself.
Alexander Zverev says Carlos Alcaraz gave him tips to beat Daniil Medvedev:
Zverev: "I played golf with Carlos Alcaraz last week in Toronto. He gave me a very good game plan against him actually." 😂

Carlos practiced with Dimitrov today. Plans to rest tomorrow and doesn't plan on playing any exhibitions. Ferrero will join him and will continue to play practice sets this week.
Ferrero tells Eurosport that Carlos is perfect physically and has no pain in the arm. Just the mental scar from the previous injury. Hopes for a great match tomorrow.
I know people don't remember but Carlos was very close to not playing Wimbledon last year. His first real practice set was the day before the start of the tournament. I would like to avoid that situation going forward.

Bublik winning the much tougher Halle but no coverage.
A Masters 1000 tournament has players dropping like flies because of the 4 week tournaments in Miami and Indian Wells and the 1 week turnaround to clay. They need to do something.
Remember the times when Novak fans said that Carlos having less than 7000 points meant that it was just a fluke? Look at him with more than 9500 points at 20 years old.
Carlos Alcaraz after beating Korda at Roland Garros
“Sebastian Korda is a great player. Were you worried about the match before?”
Carlos: “Not really 😂 I know my skills. Obviously Sebastian is a great player. A really good ball striker. He hits the ball really clean. It’s

Me parto con una canción que no se cantó del 4º finalista por delante de una que se cantó de la 3º. Hay que decirle al team amigas que luego le compren la música que si no, no sirve de nada.
Carlos: The H2H doesn't mean that I will beat him just that I know how to play against him. I'm sure he will try something new and has learnt from the losses. I'll be focused and doing the right things to prepare.
Carlos will go to Ibiza to relax and celebrate with friends for a few days before heading to London on the weekend to get ready for Queens. Nadal is trying to convince Carlos to play a tournament together on clay before the Olympics. (probably Hamburg)
Carlos saying that he wants to be the best in history is just Carlos being Carlos. That why he's won what he's won at his age. You need to be delusional to be great.
Why do people keep thinking that endurance is a thing that one has at 20? What you have at 20 is ability to recover between matches, not endurance. It's why the best marathon runner is 38 years old, right now.
You guys should chill. They are not actually friends, they are just coworkers who like each other. Carlos doesn't play better or worse if he likes a guy off court or not.
@Tennissima72
And btw Carlos has posted a story or a post to congratulate Sinner on his first master, first GS, now world n1.
Sinner has NEVER congratulated Carlos on anything in public. Or congratulated any rival for that matter. And he knows how because he congratulates f1 players
A slam and 2 masters season is a good one, but could have been better. Can't have a mental blackout that lasts a set after losing a tiebreak. Oh well. Onwards! We'll be here supporting you!
