p.s the buttons and knobs have been programmed p.s.s right click each malstrom and 'create track' then draw whatever midi in the sequencer for each synth if you want separate midi for each synth, otherwise put the midi on the combinator track to control all synth with one track

Q for DAW experts: why are my drums sounding a lot better mixed in Bitwig compared to Ableton? In both DAWs I used identical channel routing, gain staging, post processing FX and settings, everything… yet in Bitwig the audio result is considerably more dynamic and transparent?

@BLVNKSPVCE_ try a couple diff data recovery software options, when you 'delete' data it initially still exists on the drive however it is marked as free space and the drive can write over the data. avoid using the drive as much possible in meantime to try avoid overwriting the 'deleted' data

Particularly speaking in regards to the snare and cymbals. Twitter will compress the audio quality, have uploaded here: I even monitored each channels LUFS pre and post-FX (if any) in both DAWs and observed differences.. how tho when settings r identical?

The master channel in Ableton version has 2.6db headroom and there's no processing on the master channel in either DAW. If it was hitting 0db then maybe but nope!
