The Balogun of Alabata, Chief Rasaq Ajimoti explained that it was a passer-by, who noticed the gang when they were trying to dump the corpse of Mary in a nearby bush that raised an alarm which resulted in the arrest of Ako, who was then taken to Moniya police station.

In order to end rape and other sexual offenses, Oyo Assembly passed into law a bill to establish the Office of the Public Defender. The office is to provide appropriate legal aids and advice to residents of Oyo State. A good start. Nah implementation remain.
