Today I walked, I walked for my sister, for my friends, for the lady on the street I don’t know, for Uwa, for Jennifer, for the many countless ones whose names weren’t mentioned. I walked for me.
Even though we were bounced off the bridge, I still walked.
They killed Jimoh! Jimoh came out like all of us this morning to protest for better Nigeria, Jimoh was not a criminal, he’s mother will never hold him again, his friends won’t banter with him. THEY HAVE KILLED JIMOH! WE ARE OUTSIDE FOR JIMOH!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I’ve had one of the hardest days of my life today. Not forming hard guy, but this made me smile. Genuinely. Your cousin is beautiful and I hope she finds happiness everyday of her life❤️
Please dm lemme send her a yoga mat ❤️
Dear
@CNN
@BBCWorld
please we need you to broadcast our plight to the world. Our leaders only respond to public embarrassment and if that’s the route we’d have to take for the killings and injustice to stop, then so be it! We have videos and pictures of the protest, please help
I saw it’s your birthday today. Happy birthday to you, I pray this new year brings you peace. The kind that won’t make you feel the need to put another human being down (especially when they’ve done nothing to you). Enjoy today 🥂
Honey, please this isn’t the time. It’s our fight as it’s theirs. We trolled them last week and points were made. Now we’re simply fighting for our rights. “I be woman” isn’t working, they’re shooting us too. So if you won’t say anything to support, leave it. Thanks❤️
look at a WOMAN on the forefront of a fight against an organization that oppresses (mostly) nigerian men. and then i think about nigerian women and how we are treated by these same men. na wa.
We couldn’t gather as one to protest because of social distancing. But we all did our bits to be heard. I did mine; A One Woman protest on Ikoyi link bridge. Even though we got kicked off the bridge because this “wasn’t allowed” we would not be silenced

He told us to wind up our glasses in traffic to avoid being robbed when we complained about the incessant traffic robberies. He also denied the killings at the Lekki Toll Gate.
Lastly, ko ni rogba fun gbogbo yin, aye yin ma shamalamala ni
Please guys, they didn’t speak up when we needed them, they tactfully stayed quiet and on the fence. The government might even hope these their festivals would distract us, we have said over and over during the protest “NA BRANDS WEY SUPPORT US FOR
#EndSARS
WE GO FOLLOW”
Today in the market when one of those guys were trying to hold me, I stopped him and held both his hands and held on really right staring into his eyes with my mask on. He flung my hands off and started shouting to his friends “see her eyes! See her eyes”
😭😭
This man spoke up when other pastors were ranting that they should open churches, he said we should observe social distancing and worship from home. Only one who did. Now again, he is the only one publicly standing with us on this. We see it o, we see it.
#EndSARS
I appeal to leaders in government and the police force, please listen and respond.

as a courageous commitment to change. When people are not heard, they raise their voices. This is a generational opportunity to move 200m people, mostly youths, to achieve development.
We legit blocked Lekki express way. Like from toll gate all the way to even after chevron. And the older generation? They are livid. Lmfaooo I love to see it, we will all suffer together till they hear us!

The hashtag
#ENDSARS
has been trending at no.1 worldwide today, as protestors continue to demand a notorious police unit in Nigeria, is disbanded.

People don’t have to be “going through anything behind closed doors” to be worthy of your kindness. Just be kind for heck of it, life is too shitty for us to be causing each other pain. I’m so tired and drained.
As much as we’d love to stand together and have our voices heard, we need to think of our safety first. But even at that, we would not be silenced, we would still demand justice and here is the new update/information for our proposed protest.
Please retweet this for all to see.
We’ve all been so busy, fighting, lending a voice and I am so proud. This tweet is simply to remind you that you matter, you’re valid, your thoughts, your emotions. You’re strong, you’re beautiful inside and out, and I am proud of you ❤️.

Reminds me of the time my ex was choking me mid strokes and I said harder and he did, got an orgasm and asthma attack combo. It wrecked my body and my lungs closed up, almost died, lmfao. Poor boy didn’t touch me till I left back for school
Thank you so much
@atleysng
store, they’re allowing protesters rest in their store and use the bathroom. They even gave us cold water. Please if you’re ever in Lekki phase 1, please patronize them! Please retweet, they were receptive and nice ❤️
Oh btw my best friend ran out to buy last minute 23 balloon and brought it back, she lost grip of it at the doorway and the 2 flew away. So apparently I’m 3 years old today 😂😂😂😂
All of you saying “stop dragging celebrities into this” uhm Shey ori gbogbo yin ti daru ni? Whenever they drop their works, aren’t we expected to support them? We’re literally the reasons why they’re celebrities cuz we buy into their brand. So why can’t they come through for us?
