Recommending Carl Schmitt's first chapter on sovereignty to the interlocutors of this debate - also the sweet lawyers. The sovereign takes exactly 30 secs take off the kidgloves called constitutions. Law is essentially a kidglove for sovereign power. Also Benjamin, also Agamben.
