It’s been conditioned for us to deprioritize self love since we have been children.
Acknowledging your own good moments allows you to love others more freely as well.
Been thinking a lot about what “leading with love” truly means. It’s not about loving in these grandiose ways. Rather, it’s been being tender in small ways. How do talk to others when stressed? How do you treat others when you’re in a rush? How can small actions turn into love?
Twitter/X is this really intriguing, interesting place of community that I ignored for so long. Yes there are weirdos and some negative side effects, but perhaps no other social media platform enables you to showcase the closest version to your true and uninhibited self.
Was listening to Anthony Bourdain explain that all great food — wine, cheese, meat, even fish — has an essential process of rot and decay before becoming “delicious.” Does art necessitate a period of decay (sadness, grief, etc) before becoming “great”?

Sadly it’s a bit more complicated than that design wise. Nike can save thousands by keeping shoulder stripes on printing/design cost. Seems like you are taking away a component of the jersey, but that means creating a brand new template that could be “custom”
Taryn Simon, “Start Again the Lament.” An exhibit located at a former underground water reservoir in Copenhagen. There are recordings of mourners that echoes through the exhibit. What does grief look like to you?
Perhaps one of the more difficult parts of life is doing the work to understand what you want/need, whilst maintaining discipline to not stray from such a path. It’s so incredibly easy to prioritize short term over long term satisfaction.
