Very proud of the girls for hanging tough in a hostile environment. Reading came as advertised - they were physical and nothing was easy. They are a strong team but we were stronger. Such a fun season as the LS Girls program continues to build as a perennial contender. Go LS!

Congrats to LS Girls Lacrosse for earning the #1 seed in the D1 State Tourney. Our girls had one of the best regular seasons in school history while playing a very difficult schedule (16-2, both losses by one goal). Home playoff game tonight vs Hopkinton. 7:30PM. Go Warriors!

LS Girls #1 in the latest MIAA D1 Power Rankings. Congrats to players and coaches. It is quite an accomplishment - perhaps first time in school history. But there’s a long way to go and it will be harder to stay at #1 . Keep working hard!

@LSGIRLSLAX finishes its title season at 21-2. Both regular season losses were by one goal (12-11 OT at Longmeadow and 8-7 at Westwood). We played the toughest schedule in D1 and were ranked #1 in MIAA Power Rankings. This is arguably the greatest LS Girls team in history.

Our Girls Lacrosse team is 19-2 on the season. It took strong wins over Hingham and Central Catholic to reach the Final Four. Our two losses were by one goal each. A very tough schedule helped us earn the #1 seed in this D1 state tourney. We are battle-tested as well. Go LS!

Last year’s game featured Bedford’s Allie Zorn and multi-year team leader Nicola Donlan from LS. Both were All State lacrosse superstars. They are now teammates and making an impact for the nationally ranked Tufts University lacrosse program.

Mighty Westwood came as advertised and jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead. Our girls could have folded…but kept grinding instead. They battled until the end, showing incredible determination in the 10-9 victory. A great win against a formidable opponent on the biggest stage.
