do the libs realize this is incredibly embarrassing? y'all the nation is about to slip into fascism and you're fighting it with high school alliteration
Oregon State: hefeweizen - solid, a little hipster, very enjoyable and made best in a microbrewery in Oregon. a drink that's still working class but is tasty enough to pair perfectly with tailgating food or a fancy meal
10/13
Washington State: Natty Light - win or lose, cougs booze. perfect to shotgun about 10 of, forget half the day, and be part of the legendary party that is Martin Stadium when CGD comes to town
13/13
Utah: rainier with a shot of espresso - drunk as hell and hyped up beyond oblivion. just as likely to be in a parking lot tailgating as in line for first chair at the ski resort.
5/13
0regon: Tokyo tea - bright green, flashy, trendy, crowd pleaser that is tasty and really strong. somewhat disappointing however and always comes up a bit short of the classic it's riffing off of
11/13
Washington: rosรฉ - tasty, classy drink best enjoyed on a yacht, sailgating in Husky Harbor while looking over your nose at those more unfortunate than you. secretly a kinda mid drink that looks nicer in the glass than it actually tastes
12/13
Arizona State: fireball - better in theory than in reality. tasty and exciting, but everyone seems to have awful stories that they only half remember the last time they drank it
3/13
UCLA: gin and tonic - classy, refreshing, nearly always good enough but rarely truly elite. more likely to be enjoyed on a golf course than at the actual football game
6/13
Arizona: vodka cran - nice and refreshing on a desert night but gets you more fucked up than you intended. too simple to ever qualify as truly elite
2/13
Cal: double IPA - the hipster choice, too obscure and trying too hard for their own good. really a whole lot of posturing just to drink something that's painfully bitter and barely enjoyable.
8/13
U$C: martini - it's the high class go-to for a reason. snobby and actually elite with national recognition; perfect to enjoy while looking down on your subjects
7/13
almost every tree you see in public and private forests was planted by hand, bred in a seed orchard, and started in a nursery. finding a truly "natural" origin forest is fairly difficult and you really have to know what you're looking for
Colorado: coors light - now only a shadow of their former selves. still fun at a party but no one would choose them first for anything. best ice-cold and on top of a mountain
4/13
yesterday was a movie ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
s/o openslopes for carving out a queer space in the snow sports world and a big special thanks to caroline for capturing this incredible moment
Husky Twitter is so much better than Husky Facebook... I'm about to leave a few groups, can't stand the unawareness about branding changes, modern culture, etc... Guess they're all too fucking old to get it ๐คทโโ๏ธ
