@fitsnews Judges chastise defendants at sentencing all the time. They also handle motions for new trial. Sometimes defendants get their cases reversed by an appellate court. None of these actions require recusal of the trial judge. Don’t buy that shit Dick & Jim are selling. It’s BS.

PSA for inexperienced criminal defense lawyers. If you’re going into a police interview room, they have cameras. If you don’t have an agreement with the police, they will record you & your client. Don’t ever agree to be recorded. Tell them to turn off the cameras or leave.

Lawyers must submit their phone # to the jail/phone provider so their calls aren’t recorded. Every lawyer knows if a call is being recorded because there is a different preamble. When in doubt-I make sure I say it’s an attorney call.

Hey conspiracy nuts… Judge McAfee never worked for Fani Willis. They worked together in the same office. Also, none of the defense attorneys have questioned his impartiality, nor have they moved to recuse him because he’s an excellent Judge and there is no basis to recuse him.

@AnthonyMKreis One thing missing from their motion is testimony from an expert. I filed one of these motions before and we had an affidavit from an expert in ethics and the bar rules. We never had the disqualification hearing because the DA (cough cough) lost the election.
