Career Update
I'm super excited to share that I joined as Software Engineer this month.
We're working on a couple of crazy products in the domain of Generative AI and other things, stay tuned for further updates.
Hey everyone,
I am super excited and happy to share that my proposal for the project "Music Blocks v4 Project Builder Integration" under
@sugar_labs
, has been accepted to Google Summer of Code 2023 🎉🚀

When did Google force someone to spend 100s of hours doing all of these? If someone doesn't have a passion for open-source, then it's better for him/her to stay away. Also, they have very limited slots, so it's not practically possible to accept all of the applicants.
Excited to share that I passed my Google Summer of Code Midterm Evaluation under SCoRe Lab 🥳
A big thanks to my super supportive mentor
@AgentMilindu
for helping me constantly and pushing me beyond my limits to learn and implement new things.

@zenorocha
Hi
@zenorocha
, we have already created an open-source library for this purpose as a part of Google Summer of Code 2022. You can check it out here:
Feel free to add your suggestions
From staying awake all night to build hackathon projects in my college days, to staying awake and helping the participants to fix the bugs in their code and guide the teams to build better solutions, and then judging their solutions, it's been a long and amazing journey.
Last month, I participated in the `Code Night` hackathon organized by
@Square_Boat
and I'm delighted to announce that our team ended up as Runner-up after a 24-hour hackathon and pitching sprint.
A star on the project's GitHub repo will be appreciated! ⭐
Lastly, you can DM me if you have any queries related to development, hackathons, GSoC, or open-source in general; would love to help people get into these fields.
Need some help regarding International payments 🥲
I was searching for good alternatives to
@Wise
since they've significantly increased the charges for the business accounts, and one of my friends recommended

Completely agree, but I always (and I think everyone should) follow the rule to not take loans or buy these expensive things if I can't afford them from my earnings.
Here is the GSoC'22 project GitHub repo, we are in need of some stars 😀
Your one `star` on the repo will definitely add a lot of value to our efforts and hard work 😊
Like and retweets will help us to reach a wider audience 🚀

What's next?
I'll continue building the open-source libraries and software, and also try to update the applications (hopefully this time) which are currently getting used by an overall 500+ active users.
I really hope no one falls into the same situation. But in the end, I can proudly say that they didn't become successful, and here's the result for them.
In these 1.5 months of my GSoC journey, I've documented things through my blogs. In case you are interested to explore behind-the-scenes of the project work, then you can check out the blogs here:
A few people tried their best to pull me down and stop me from doing good work; they did enough mental and physical torture throughout the entire June month that it took me almost half a month more to come out of that trauma.
Quick career update:
I marked my last day as Front-end Developer Intern at
@buildonscenes
a few days back.
It was really fun and exciting to work with the whole team.
This summer, I worked with the
@sugar_labs
organization on their `Music Blocks (v4)` project as a Google Summer of Code contributor. I never imagined that I would come this far and change my life when I started learning coding and took it seriously in 2021.
@hayy_daiiya
I've already explained and shared with him the resources and useful links. The purpose of this post is to make others aware that there is a need for more awareness.
A big thanks to my mentors,
@meganindya_22
and Walter Bender, for their constant guidance and support.
Here is the final work report and accepted proposal for this year:

Rejection from GSoC doesn't mean the end of the career. He/she can apply again next year with improved proposals and contributions. Good developers and open-source contributors don't even require the GSoC tag, their contributions speak for themselves.
And the worst thing is, can't even DM them on Twitter since they're only allowing DMs from verified profiles, I mean seriously! 🤦🏻♂️

Today, I tried to create a new account by myself on their platform and the onboarding experience is soooo frustrating, I'm literally stuck right now due to some serious onboarding issues 🥲 (3/4)
But that's not the end; we're looking forward to getting an excellent "Week rank" and need your support for that.
Sign up and give our app a try here: .
We look forward to hearing your feedback.
Now, you'll be able to access the environment variables based on your .env file in a type-safe way with some nice IntelliSense and autocomplete. 🤩
And guess what? It supports both JavaScript and TypeScript. 🎉
After a great learning experience at GSoC 2022 with
@SCoReLab_Org
, I'm looking forward to utilising this summer to the fullest with the open-source projects and community at
@sugar_labs
!

We've worked hard to make Hyper intuitive, efficient, and a game changer in the way you interact with data. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to refine and enhance Hyper. We're eager to hear your thoughts, suggestions, and experiences.
• Different AI agents to execute multiple tasks and interact with the connected providers.
• Hyper continuously syncs your data sources to ensure contextually relevant and up-to-date responses.

I created a fresh Next.js v13 project with Turbopack and followed the steps in the Tailwind CSS docs to configure it.
But it wasn't working!
It took me half an hour to figure it out when the CLI gave me a warning after restarting the server for the 5th time :)

16GB RAM with 1TB SSD storage, also chose the 70W USB-C Power Adapter instead of the 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter. Everything costs around 1.82 lakhs, including the UNiDAYS discount (paid 1k extra for the MagSafe Charging Case for the AirPods).
