So @WakeBaseball 's @tommy_hawke24 is an absolute electric factory. Hawke, who will likely work out of the leadoff spot in 2023, has a traditional leadoff makeup. He is a high contact (11% whiff), plus runner (30/35 SB), who plays a strong defensive CF.

Nick Kurtz is an absolute MONSTER. The @ProspectsLive 1st team pre season AA recorded 30 XBHs with a whopping 48 walks and 14.6% K-rate over 54 games. The athletic 6’6’’ 1B led ACC play in average (.422) & OBP (.548) in ‘22 with an astonishing 1.254 OPS. Continued ➡️

A huge X factor for @vol_baseball in ‘23 is the bat of Christian Moore. Used in a platoon role CMO had a very productive FR season slashing .305/.443/.619 w 10 HR in 118 ab. +power & above avg speed. 20 HR and AA potential. Sky is the limit if he can cut down on chase.

FR RHP @JB_Middleton21 really impressed @SouthernMissBSB coaches this fall and you can see why. FB was 93-95 T97 with good ride (avg 19.5 IVB). He pairs it with a tight SL with good velo (83-85) that looks like it can be a special pitch. He should make an immediate impact.

A huge boost to @LionUpBaseball is the healthy return of Brennan Stuprich. The ‘21 FR AA and Southland FR of the year spent all of ‘22 rehabbing. The word this fall is that he’s looked electric. The FB has made a big jump from 88-91 T94 to sitting 93-95 T96 w a little cut.

I absolutely love the addition of Nick Proctor to @GamecockBasebll pen. Proctor throws from a deceptive 3/4 slot w a fb that sits 88-92. His best pitch is his frisbee slider that generates 46% whiff. He couples it with a slower slurve that works like a CH off the slider.

Joichiro Oyama was a great get for @UCIbsb . Star at Merced & CO MVP of the @WCLBaseball A slap hitter that works to all fields with ++ speed. In WCL he batted .339 w 6 2b, 6 3b, and 1 HR. 42 BB to 38k w 52 SB Lead league in R, H, BB, 3B and SB. Reached base in 56/57 games.

In a weekend filled with impressive FR debuts @UVABaseball ’s Jack O’Connor did not disappoint. The 6’5 RHP threw 5 shutout innings against a UNCW team that had scored 22 runs in their first two games. He allowed 1H, 3 BB w 7 K’s. The FB sat 92-94 T95. Mixed in a good curve.

@codball This is the new normal. Nothing odd about it. With the draft in mid July you’re going to have kids come pre draft and leave. With schools allowing kids to throw 20-30 innings it allows you to stagger arms or let kids rehab for 2-3 weeks before arriving July 1. The release thing

I expect him to have made strides in his miss/chase rates. Hitting in the 4 hole he will be a major catalyst in what should be a very potent and experienced LA Tech offense. I expect a lot more people will be taking about him next July.
