difficult position to defend but I believe strongly that online flashing light games, roulette, slots way more harmful than betting on live horses. But racing will suffer equally. Ban “free” offers with terms would be a start for me. My views observational not evidence based.

What is wrong with idea that British Gas should be owned by British people. There shouldn’t be gas bills, it should be a service paid by taxation. That way richer pay more & poor pay nothing & noone gets cut off. Govt can get volume discount when buying. Who loses?
