While 3D is by no means a substitute for preventative care, hopefully it can help in reconstruction and restoration. I'm not aware of any official 3D scans of Notre Dame de Paris, but I've drawn a small collection together here:

In 2012, @sciencemuseum 's Shipping Gallery was permanently closed, but not before it was captured via laser scan & recorded as a 3D 'point cloud'. For the first time, you can now interactively explore this data from the Museum on @sketchfab : 🛥🚢⚓⛵🔍

This is how I got into photogrammetry while member of staff at the BM: morning coffee in the canteen then photography in this gallery while no one was around. A massive privilege! If only I knew then what I do now about capturing and editing 3D :)
