Update on UCF 0.84: We have conducted an end to end input consistency test, looping the below frame perfect sequence on 0.8 and 0.84 for 10 minutes each. The test detected no difference between 0.8 and 0.84. We recommend all events move to 0.84.

I think Melee needs MORE barriers to entry. You should have to double tap to L-cancel. Bracket fees should be $20 minimum. Controllers should be $1000 and break instantly upon being plugged in. If you aren't a top 100 player you should be forced to use a MadCatz.

People tend to forget that Smash as a whole is a game about who can kill the opponent the most. In the end, the game is entirely about kill confirms - neutral and punish are simply vessels to accomplish that goal. If you win neutral 20 times a game but can't kill you will lose.
