What an incredible year this has been, the highlight of which was the birth of Juru. What a privilege to raise two little humans. Thank you God for all my blessings. Looking forward to an impactful 2022!
Happy new year 2022! May your prayers be answered 🎊
Happy 35th birthday to my wonderful husband
@cndegeya

Some personal news: Clement and I are grateful to God to have welcomed our son Juru this week. We are both in good health and Isaro is the cutest big sister. That said, I will not be regular on here for a while. Thank you for your love.
If standing on business was a person!!! The ideology has not changed, the person has not changed. ✊🏾

If you are a young person with a public persona, work hard to grow roots [expertise, character, empathy, leadership etc.].
Don't speak on what you don't know.
Do your homework and sit with things sometimes.
But mistakes are a learning opportunity. Don't be discouraged.
My 'forever young' dad has passed on. We are devastated and still in shock.
Thank you to neurosurgeon Dr. David Hakizimana & his team, all the doctors and nurses at King Faisal Hospital for all their efforts to save his life.
I really appreciate that President
@PaulKagame
said that the biggest successful project of the Government of Rwanda has been changing the dependency mindset of Rwandans (always looking to others) into self-reliance that collaborates with partners with dignity i.e. putting in the

I usually refuse to even share things like this & believe in not giving space to anything so biased but I was interviewed for hours and we discussed sports and the development of sports/basketball in Africa. I took my time to explain both our context and ambitions as an African
Today, we bury my mother-in-love, Madeleine Mukamusana Ndegeya. She was the kindest woman and an example we look up to.
She has always treated me like her own daughter and I love her dearly. I would get to her house and expect princess treatment and laughter, so much laughter!
Thankful to God for another year. I'm doing what I love, surrounded by such great people who want me to win as much as I want them to win. My kids are thriving and I'm in the best shape of my life. God is good! 🥂
Juru is 1 🎊
Happy birthday lipasa ya maman, inshuti ya Isaro. I'm grateful every day that I get to be your mama! Komeza ujye juru muri byose. Love you bubba ❤️

"So, what they are trying to do is simply to get him [Rusesabagina] released because he is who he is, regardless of what he did."
Yes. It has nothing to do with judicial process, fair trials or sadly, the nine victims.
A good read from

Happy father's day Papa. I woke up this morning and realized I couldn't call you 😔. And that we couldn't do our usual brochettes, fermented drink, debates and live music. I am very grateful for the years I got you as my dad and friend.
After we get angry over the racist treatment of African students/lives by Polish & Ukrainians, we need to commit to building quality higher education/training on the continent so our kids don't have to be treated like this. En plus, these are paying students.
I really appreciate the precision and historical accuracy (dates) Dr. Bizimana uses when explaining the history of the Genocide against the Tutsi.
He brings all the receipts.
It's Isaro's 5th birthday today and I am so grateful to celebrate this milestone with her in good health, and growing more curious and inquisitive by the minute. She's mommy's pearl forever 💞!
Happy birthday to my baby!

I love this, what a sense of clarity and purpose! I hope that by the time you graduate from S6, Kepler College will be able to provide you the necessary accommodations so you can study with us. 😁

for the opportunity to discuss how educators and parents share the responsibility of raising the next generation with the values that build on Rwanda's Ubudasa.
It is hard to say goodbye. Prof. Kalisa Mbanda was a father to many, a patriot, an educator. He believed that we must give our talents for Rwanda's development.
A humble, hard working man who gave his all and still found time to call/love us all.
Rest well Grandpa!
Thank you to everyone who reached out to wish me a happy birthday. It is appreciated.
Special 😘 to
@Fiona_Kamikazi
who is always first to wish me &
@DodoPicard
who sent me the most hilarious voice note that I will keep & share when she is famous.
Look who I spent it with ❤️
You cannot believe how many places where I am the only 1) young 2) black 3) woman in a room. Rwanda will have you thinking it is entirely normal to be sitting at those tables (until you look around). I don't take it for granted.

Thank you for all you do for Rwanda and Africa. We will protect your legacy.

Don't fall into media propaganda wars. We need to focus on protecting our interests, African economic integration and making it VERY costly to discriminate against us. Build here.
And that starts with Agaciro - dignity. Africa first. That's where it is.

Dear ladies, don't let anyone shame you from going all out for your first baby (or any baby)! If you want and can afford it, get that maternity shoot, paint & decorate the room, get engraved goodies...💕

I answered:

Every time I feel like I want to look away or turn the testimonies off, I remind myself that survivors don't get to look away. If they share, we must listen.
So much to say but this isn't the platform. I am glad I got to hug you a few days ago. You insisted and I am glad you did or I would be devastated.

Grateful for the time I get to spend with them actually present in body AND mind. Isaro has a list of activities daily 😏.

Before tweeting, ask yourselves, 'Do I have personal experience to speak on this?' 'Is it my place to speak about women's pain or pleasure?' 'Would this matter if the person discussed was a man?'
Happy birthday to my manager (Kepler Chief of Staff) and fellow Torontonian Stephanie.
She is a key reason everything runs smoothly at Kepler. And she is as passionate about sports as the rest of us. ✨✨✨
I was asked this week which women leaders I admired. Not many of us have concrete examples but I have been lucky to watch my always Minister now S.E. Madame la Secretaire Générale

Happy Father's Day to my papa 🕊️! I miss you every day especially on brunch Sundays when you told Isaro stories of your youth natwe tukumviraho. Love you always!
Happy birthday President
