Clarification : Mumbai Press Club has raised the demand for priority vaccinations for all journalists with valid ID cards. To make this effective, Municipal Commissioner has been asked to declare the Club premises near Azad Maidan as a designated vaccination centre.
These findings have been forwarded to HT's chairperson, Shobana Bhartiya, as well as to the Editors Guild for further action. It is imperative that a Code of Newsroom Conduct for Editors be established without delay.
