1/ This is absurd. I get it, everyone thinks Northwestern is awful so if they aren’t, someone must have coached well. They were a Rutgers loss from being the 9 seed in the tournament. Purdue is 1 of 7 teams to ever win the Big Ten by 3+ games. The other 6 got COY.

When MSU took a 21-20 lead over @BoilerBall with 3:01 left in the first half, it was MSU’s first lead at Mackey Arena in 129 minutes and 2 seconds of game action dating to Feb. 18, 2017 game. In the last 4 games at Mackey, MSU has led a total of 5:22 with a largest lead of 3.

3/ Purdue was #1 in the country back to back years, the first team in the conference to do so since 74 and 75. With 2 FR guards few wanted. Many picked Purdue about 7th in the preseason. But, Northwestern wasn’t as awful as people thought. So, ya that’s a better coaching job.

The amount of times announcers say some form of “wow they’re letting it get really physical inside” during a Purdue game should be a wake up call to @B1GMBBall . Maybe it was and instead of fixing it they told @BigTenNetwork to not show any replays. 🤷‍♂️

Gillis a misleading 9-12 from 3. 1 of his misses was a launch as half ended, another was to beat a shot clock buzzer. He was 9-10 on the 3s he wanted to take. 🤯
