Sending thoughts and condolences to the Lehighton Area HS community and recent graduates tonight as they mourn the untimely passing of a great student and athlete. Best wishes to Damian’s family and friends.
Coming into school today and seeing these signs on lockers completely surprised and humbled me. Thank you, students, for your support. I don’t want to discuss the matter here, but thank you. I will always do my best to provide a safe, supportive, and meaningful school experience.
It is with mixed emotions that I announce my resignation from LAHS. I will be joining the Northern Lehigh Middle and High Schools as their new Assistant Principal. I will miss Lehighton immensely, and I wish good luck to you all. Tribe Pride, always!
Mrs. Guardiani wouldn’t like this tweet because she doesn’t want any special recognition, but it’s School Nurses’ Day and she deserves a shout out. Thank you, Mrs. Guardiani, for your service to our school and advocacy for our students.

Congrats to Cara Palumbo as she heads to FBLA Nationals to represent our Tribe Pride. She will compete in the securities and investments category. Kudos, Cara!!
Giving some Veterans Day recognition to my former student and LAHS alumnus, Jack Zimmerman, for successfully completing boot camp and becoming a US Marine.

Giving a shout to
@David_Citro
-At the start of this school year, he suffered a torn ACL and has been working hard to rehab it since then. Today in gym, under the guidance of Mrs. Hartney and Mr. Ellis, Dave ran his first half mile since his injury and did it sub 4. Nice job!👍🏻
Congrats to Chris Whiteman on an outstanding athletic and academic year. He’s a member of NHS, FBLA, and SADD. He also earned 100 wrestling wins and broke football records while serving as a class officer. Tribe Pride!

Congratulations to Addison Howland for his acceptance into the US Air Force Academy. Addison has earned my sincere respect as I have watched him work incredibly hard to achieve this. He will undoubtedly thrive in the USAF! Your tribe thanks you for your future service. Kudos!
Even though it’s dress like a teacher day, I am formally suspending Kylie for 100 days due to this obviously terrible portrayal of a certain vice principal. 😂😂😂
I am heartbroken to learn of a former student’s tragic passing. Jenna— I always enjoyed having you in class, and I admired how forthright you were. May you rest peacefully. I send all my condolences to my Lehighton kids. I’m thinking of you all right now.
I guess we will let ANYONE into the building. 🙄🙄 Kidding! It was good to catch up with LAHS alumnus, Dave Citro, today. He earned a 4.0 and Dean’s List honors in his first college semester. Kudos! He said this semester is more challenging, but he’s up for it. Go get ‘em!
Congrats to Victor McCandless as he will attend York College to major in Civil Engineering. This young man is among our hardest working students. As a condition of posting this, he wanted the world to know that he outscored his brother Max on the SAT. 😂😂 Kudos, Victor!
After 42 years as a teacher and counselor, today was Mrs. Brown’s last day of school. Everyone here at

I am excited and honored to be selected as the next principal of
@NorthernLehigh
Middle School. It was in Mr. Weaver’s MS English class I knew I wanted to be an educator. Coming full circle! Thanks to Mrs. Chamberlain,
@nl_dawg
, and
@HowlandSuzanne
for their mentorship.
Today I entered the LAHS admin and faculty into a contract with the students: you listen, we listen. The symposium is step 1. If you want a better school, community, and future, embody change & improve yourself. Step 2: Let’s work to communicate better. I’m all in—are you?
Kayla, Aubrey, and Luke presented me with this beautiful computer desk they built as their final project for construction tech. Pretty awesome! Thank you all so much! As long as I am in education, this will be in my office. 👍🏻🔨
Congrats go to Olivia Frendt as she will be attending Clemson University. Liv plans to major in nursing. Knowing how hard she works, I am excited to see her goal come to fruition. Liv holds herself to a high standard and Clemson is lucky to have her.
Wishing good luck to Indians wrestler, Logan Pagotto, as he heads to states. He told me he feels confident and ready. Along with being a talented athlete, Logan plans to pursue a physicians assistant program after high school. The college he selects will be lucky to have him.

students, for her latest tremendous endeavor. She’s painting walls in the girls’ restrooms with inspirational words for young women. She’s getting rave reviews from her peers. Thank you, Aijah! Tribe Pride!
When you call out sick and your office staff can’t stand to be without you… 🤦🏼♂️ They at least could have gotten one that was my actual height and maybe photoshopped some hair. 🤷🏼♂️😝
Finishing up my last few days with the incredible LASD—felt nostalgic and spent a few minutes in my old classroom. Good memories! I am super excited to once again be in the Bulldog Pack, but I know I will miss my Tribe. Here’s a throwback pic to our “Greaser” day—4 years ago. 🤣
Today is World Prematurity Day. My son Carson was born three months early and spent his first week of life intubated, struggling to breathe on his own. He spent seven more weeks in intensive care. He’s now ten years old—smart, healthy, and full of attitude! He’s my inspiration.
Kudos to Miranda Pettit—she will be attending LCCC to begin her studies in business before transferring to a four-year school. I’ve known Miranda since she was three and taught her twice: once in high school and way back when she was 5 years old and taking karate 🥋
This is Dr. Katie Bouman. She’s 29 years old, recently earned her doctorate degree in computer science, and grew up in an area with a population less than that of Carbon County. She’s also the person who took the first Black Hole image in human history. — Get my point?
Madison DeLuca will be attending Elizabethtown College to dual major in Potical Science and Religious Studies. Her goal is to then enroll in Seminary and become a Pastor. Madison is incredibly talented and one of the most genuinely nice students with which I’ve worked. Good luck!
