The high school in my district scheduled an impromptu half day today so that staff can work on a new plan to improve behavior after numerous violent incidents. Apparently 2 admins ended up in the hospital the other day. My suggestion: punish bad/dangerous behavior.

@C_Hendrick The other day I saw a comedian doing a bit about how we didn’t talk about “mindfulness” 20 years ago bc we didn’t have the option to not be mindful. Waiting for a friend somewhere? All you could do was watch the cars go by or listen to the sound of the rain hitting the ground.
