MFJ Atty Justin La Mort says of illegal lockouts: Sometimes tenants are “just out of the apartment and when they come back, it has a new lock and all their stuff is gone”. MFJ has seen a 184% increase in illegal lockout cases in March-June 2020 vs. 2019.
