Our #Snow event is causing a big headache it could of corse go into France a miss us completely or go north into the midlands unlikely but a real possibility is that it goes up the channel a brushes with southern England and Wales time will tell, more updates later.

Before we get carried away with Global Warming and the end of the world! look at this most of 50'0 N are at or below freezing the 2 areas of extreme cold will force warm air north over the UK and Ireland and is likely to build heights to north over Scandinavian watch this space.

Yes I know possible 40C on the cards but nothing, I mean nothing compares with this 3 day heatwave to the 10 week heatwave of 1976 While our tops temps was around 35C day and night for 10 weeks relentlessly hot no water severe drought - now that is a Nat emergency!

@metoffice Before we all get too excited should explain this as a local Weather Effect caused by the Foehn effect [Nothing to do with Climate Change] Dry foehn usually happens in the lee of mountains, where clear, sunny conditions prevail

Siberia is heading for a new record #cold of -66C breaking the winter record in 2002 but not one mention of this in the media unlike the heat of the #summer that should tell you everything one way reporting BTW we must keep an eye on this cold BFTE🥶Thanks #Ventusky
