My incredible mother passed away on Friday after a 14 year battle w/ ovarian cancer. She was my best friend and light of my life. She fought with every cell in her body to stay alive. She was the definition of a good person. I wish I could hold her hand. I miss her so much.

It’s been one month since I said goodbye to my mom. Boy do I miss her. I’m mostly an atheist + typically only believe in things based in science, but I’ve been saying hello to every bee, deer, firefly, bird that passes me — just in case. I probably look completely nuts. Sigh

Uber quietly started adding a hidden “wait-time” fee for the time btwn a driver arrives & trip begins. Uber’s site says they notify passengers when charges start, but they don’t. Can I have $ back when I’m waiting for my driver to show up & they’re 10+ min later than expected?
