The author who tweeted insults at GR reviewers for rating her book anything less than 5 stars now has an overall GR rating of 1.63. One of the reviews is “you can’t blame me for this review, I was high” and I wish I could give 5 stars to that review. Or 4.5 at the very least.

Give me all your favorite romance novel sickbed caretaking scenes. I’ll start: The Devil and the Heiress by Harper St. George features 2 MCs who get into a carriage accident and he carries her for miles in the rain to seek help and then helps nurse her back to health for weeks.

I know there was a lot of discourse about sex scenes before 60%, but if your MCs haven’t even met 60 pages into the book, I’d question whether the book was in fact a romance. It might be a book with a romantic subplot but that’s not necessarily the same as a romance novel.
