Earnest pandemic tweet since so many of us are facing staying in and cancelled plans: #yellowjackets is the best tv I’ve seen in ages. Someone described it as Lord of the Flies meets Heathers (with ‘90s soundtrack and a touch of Lost).

Being a tenured professor is one of the last good jobs in America. The country would be healthier if more jobs afforded the kind of stability they enjoy. I bet most workers would trade higher salaries for real security. Separately: many tenured professors are sniveling cowards.
