@DearSplenda @AmericanAir yes— they do. Unfortunately some airlines have dress code policies & not all gate agents/flight attendants/airports equally enforce it (which sucks but is reality). So you have to read the fine print of rules before u book with an airline to know the rules that COULD be enforeced

I 100% dont condone how ppl use the broad rules to make racist targets— just was saying ive seen flight attendants on YT and Tiktok say that they can kick people off for odor or dress. I think it’s ridiculous and it’s made me rethink who I fly with :/

PhD yr 3 had many challenges, including my ESA/migraine dog passing from lymphoma ~7 mos ago. My whole world (& apt) was instantly flipped upside down, to the point where I briefly took time off. Sadly, my cat still wanders the halls looking for Oaks. Wish I help him understand💔

They even can kick you off if you smell bad, which I know has been recently targeted recently too. Its sad and horrible!

Some solid advice that really helped me this past summer in my lab! Support from labmates && grad students should be cherished, esp when u work with a very busy PI who cant give you 1:1 attention all the time!❤️

@AcademicChatter What’s crazier?! I am an ex-theater and music major and perform well on stage! I also do great at presenting sci-comm! But I had the same issues with anxiety as I began my PhD this year. And I learned that is 100% valid and OKAY :) 2/

Just my daily tweet of my disappointment in Wisconsin state legislature. I have to pay taxes here (even though I maintain a permanent address in my home state of TX, which also is not great lol) and I am quite upset with the political tactics this administration is playing.
