Next: a dialogue test. Since they’re cars, there’s a pretty big distance between their eyes and mouth so I wanted to keep lipsync graphic/less distracting so you stay focused on their eyes. I also wanted to push the use of icons even more. #Batwheels

Once we were all happy with the anim style, I got to work on the expression sheets for everyone else. Bibi and Batwing were tricky because they only had one screen, which meant less space. We created the mask idea to separate the eyes from the mouth to match the other #Batwheels .

BC’s design was tricky to nail down. She needed to be both motherly to the #Batwheels and stoic with Batman. I wanted to test if we could bounce between both purely thru movement. When talking to Batman she’s straightforward, but with the BTWLs she’s more expressive and bouncy.
