Capital can move freely across borders, but labor is criminalized. NAFTA made us lose good manufacturing jobs in the U.S., but it also led to a decline in standards and pay for Mexican workers. Mexico didn’t “take our jobs”, the Big 3 moved south to super-exploit labor.
