Had a graduate student who has a PhD in my class who called my lesson too basic for him - when his classmates are first timers on the topic.
I wish he was more humble so his classmates don’t feel as bad. I designed my lesson for the least informed and not for the most informed.
I have this one student this semester who never attended any class and doesn't submit anything. In fact, I have been following up on her but was left on read/seen.
FYI ha. Teachers don't like failing students. It gives us anxiety of "could we have done better. Did I do enough?"
Papa, I love you. In all ways and always.
It still hurts and it feels like my heart is being torn apart everyday. But I know wherever you are now, you're not in pain.
Rest in peace and in love.
And that's a wrap! Finally!

Hi Papa, I don't think the days are preparing me enough for Father's Day on Sunday and you're not here with us anymore. I still cry and I still miss you terribly. I love you Papa
I found myself crying again. It's a bittersweet day. It's my sister's birthday but also my dad's first father's day in heaven. I miss you so much papa.
It’s my graduation from masters next month and I’m so confused on what I should wear. Barong? Suit? Definitely not kimono because it’s goddamn hot in the PH. Especially since there is a possibility of me giving a speech because… yeah. Urgh
Today was a bit of a sentimental day for me. My students from 2 years ago specifically visited me today in school. As they were walking away, I took this photo and made me realize that this is probably what it feels like to send them off to the real world outside school. (1/n)
If Leni won the election, I’d think the supporters would say “Kasama kayo sa pinaglalaban.”
Instead what we get from the leading supporters are “iyak na lang mga kakampwet”
You are really who you vote.
Today was the last day of lecture for my undergraduate students before they graduate. We said our goodbyes, we took photos, and they left.
One student remained and hugged me and said "Thank you for everything you've done for the class"

Exactly! To be honest, concepts are repetitive but the cases and context that your peers provide make you more knowledgeable. But shempre, by saying that, he alienated himself din from the people
Me: Can I order one tall americano? And that pastry? *points at Kouign Amann*
Barista: Which one sir?
Maki: *points at Kouign Amann*
Barista: The Kouign Amann sir?
Maki: Yes please
(Obviously I don’t want to murder the pronunciation of a word I don’t know)
Grabe naman po
@LazadaPH
gusto ko lang naman ng clicker at laptop stand para pag nagtuturo ako. Pero bakit mas mahal pa sa flight ang shipping fee nyo, may kasama po ba tong tao lol 😂
Credit-grabbers, gas-lighters and those who do not acknowledge faults are the worst kind of colleagues especially in an NGO/Foundation. Worse if these traits are all in one person. Ew 🙄🙄🙄
I was looking for a magenta shirt and people who know me know that I only have a very limited color option (black and white).
But I like this shirt because it screams "nanindigan ako"
Happy New Year! 💕
