Soo... just got my results - and I have COVID - I kinda figured since yesterday I lost my sense of taste / smell (weirdest symptom I’d ever experienced! - it’s not the same as a congested nose) I do still plan on streaming in the morning 8am est - we have a raid to do!!

I'm going to say it: 48 hr Contest Mode as the Norm 👍 There are a ton of people out there with the capability to beat a Contest Raid - But playing for 24 hrs is really NOT recommended - 48 hrs would allow people to take breaks and go back.

Just some facts: the hospital system I work at has currently the highest number of COVID patients admitted EVER since the pandemic started almost 2 years ago. ICU capacity is at its all time highest with 12% available. I wish more people truly understood the reality of #COVID

I hope we continue to see Raids that are more accessible to people - 10 days to level + Contest + weekend release IMO is the best Raid Release we’ve had to date. I am a fan of also leaving contest after Raids as an optional raid option w/ more cosmetics in addition to loot.

Why so many DSC day 1 clears? ✅ Release on weekend ✅ 10 days to level ✅ Contest (reduced level req) ✅ Few wipe mechanics ✅ OP builds (CWL especially) ✅ Big marketing = big turnout ❌ More accessible emblem negatively impacts the day 1 experience

All these tweets for people calling for the Raid to be delayed: Pls Consider - majority of working Adults took off work for the race - rather than making it so only a small % can raid - if no fix can be found, just disable the subclass for the 24hrs of the raid!

Raid Thoughts: Don't be intimidated - It's hard now mainly due to Low PL - However - while it's heavily mechanic based, there are actual Roles - you can just kill adds if you aren't comfortable with symbols / eyeball shooting! In a few weeks everyone will be killing Riven!!

Update on COVID cause so many are asking: My first symptom was 7-12, Diagnosed on 7-18, Most all symptoms have now resolved except daily persistent (Sometimes 24hrs / day Headaches) - They are getting better though and I'm feeling better =) (Still no taste though!)

I've streamed for 5 yrs now & one of the hardest things is to not compare myself to others. It's a mental challenge to see myself as "enough" even if I don't (or never) hit the milestones others do so easily. This has to be about my journey and the people along the way.

Say what you will about the Flawless/Non-Flawless pool - I'm not a huge fan either, and I understand why people reset when doing helps, BUT - there are people in the non-flawless FREELANCE pool intentionally gatekeeping others from going flawless - I just don't get people :/

I know Thunderlord is controversial - but if you are doing helps on Rhulk - 1 Div / 5 Thunderlords (+ Ceno Warlock) Two phases the boss / clears adds like crazy Make it even safer - three phase if need and use burst supers on final stand = guaranteed clear!!

Why I still play D2. For Me? I love raids - From Helping Guardians get their first Clear to pushing myself and Challenging me to play and do better. After my Nurse work shift - I love getting on and just doing Patrols - It's relaxing before bed. Even w/ the Flaws - It's my Game

Meet "Oki" She's Curious, Timid, Vocal, and has the most gorgeous Blue Eyes. She's ~ 1 year old - Was a Stray, then lived with one family, and recently at a local shelter. I know it's early (wasn't planned) and Vaughn will be loved forever. She starts my next chapter 🐱🤍

It was only a matter of time - the sheer volume of exposure we have in the ED right now is insane - I am Vaxed + Boosted and so incredibly glad cause it means I can stay out of the hospital. May do some more streams depending on how I’m feeling. Will re-test Sunday. #COVID19
