Last week in Cairo, Dr Zahi Hawass graciously accepted my apology for my unkind words to him at a public event in 2015. We still disagree about many things, but our disagreements in future will be friendly, respectful and constructive. The attached after-dinner photo says it all.
Half way thru the Graham Hancock vs. Flint Dibble debate - here are some thoughts: I’m very glad that this dialogue is happening.
I like Graham & Flint, but I think this conversation is evidence of a dehumanizing between the two schools of thought.
There are ways for
As enormous as Teotihuacan is on display: it’s amazing that 94% of the city remains un-excavated to this day.
In fact, much of the modern city is actually built upon the neighborhoods & street grids of the ancient city.

My first book “The Olmec Enigma” is coming in 2025 📚
The first Megalithic Monument I saw with my own eyes was the Olmec head ‘Monument 1.’ of La Venta. I was hooked.
With all of the talk around ‘Lost Civilizations’: the Olmecs are a perfect example of real, archaeological
Totally insane that these discarded megaliths, which are OLDER than the Olmecs, can be found laying on the side of the road around ancient villages in Oaxaca.
You can only wonder what was once carved on these huge stones.
Was anyone else a bit surprised that the Pre-Dynastic Vases weren’t mentioned during the Graham Hancock/Flint Dibble debate?🏺
I feel like the research that

Surveys in South America are showing that, likely, more than 10,000 ancient Geometric Amazonian earthworks are waiting to be uncovered on the peripherals of the Amazon.
Some calibrated dates of these sites push them back to 8,700 BC, or earlier - when people began heavily
Got some comments saying that trees couldn’t have grown into Pyramids like this… & that these must be rocky hills.
In reality, the jungles will absolutely eat up even the biggest pyramids. It’s just a matter of time.
Discovering the remains of a ~2,200 year old looted tomb, in the middle of the Campeche Jungle.
These forests are an endless, sprawling network of huge pyramids, temples & palaces ruled by unknown kings 1000-2000+ years ago. This city alone has to be nearly 2,000 years old.
Crossing the 50k mark as I arrived in Peru was very surreal.
I can’t properly explain how I feel - I’m just very grateful.
I am quitting my day job to pursue studying Ancient American & Mediterranean civilizations full time. Thank you🕊️
Of all of the searches for ancient lost technology/techniques (whether extreme or conservative approaches), I find the Pre-Dynastic vase research to be one of the most compelling topics right now.
Matt Beall & his team’s work could bring to light some amazing findings about the
I’ve said it before: no matter what you believe, if these vases are ~3,500 BC (or even much older), they stand out in the historical timeline as artifacts that change our view of what ancient Egyptians must have been capable of⚱️

Machu Picchu is everything you thought it was. Truly a spectacular site that stands above all of the archaeological sites I’ve ever been to.
In three weeks I fly to Egypt, & it’s hard to imagine how it could compare to the magic of Machu Picchu. Believe me, I’m shocked to say

The Megalithic stones at Mitla are beyond anything else I’ve seen in the Mesoamerican world.

Thousands of these Mesoamerican pyramids are just hidden away, waiting for someone to rediscover them.

Unfortunately the city of Baalbek was bombed yesterday. So far, the archaeological site seems to be untouched… though anything could happen.
In the blink of an eye, the largest man-made blocks in history could be reduced to rubble.

The Olmecs are, perhaps, Mesoamerica’s strangest civilization.
They appear in the historical timeline as a fully fledged civilization from the very beginning: with rulers, a pantheon of gods, some of the ancient world’s greatest stone masons, expertly cut jade artifacts, and
Very thankful to have been invited to return to Cosmic Summit, to speak about the Mesoamerican world again. I was very excited to reveal, what I call, the world’s 4th Handbag.

Atlantis's location remains hotly debated. The Richat structure intrigues some theorists, while others point to the Azores, citing connections to Plato's dialogues. These competing claims fuel ongoing speculation about the legendary city's true whereabouts. Yet definitive proof
As someone who’s not a Math person (at all), I found this segment of the Graham Hancock/Flint Dibble debate really interesting—regarding the numerology of the Great Pyramid.

One of the biggest Olmec heads that I’ve never seen before this expedition. It’s so deteriorated you can barely see the face thousands of years later.
It’s great to be here on foot, because you’ll never find this on Google…
Looking back on the Hancock/Dibble debate, I hope the audience gained some sense of how incredibly nuanced archaeology really is (especially on a global scale).
It is impossible to give a clear, bullet proof explanation/analysis of anything on that scale in 4 hours (let alone

I was fortunate to see the Pre-Dynastic vases in person, & I am convinced that they are genuine artifacts.
I think it is one of the best cases for a lost technology. They are remarkable. It hits you as soon as you hold one.
Woah. Got heated when talking about the Olmecs.
Here’s the thing: the Olmecs might be one of the strangest ancient cultures that ever existed.
Yes, the Olmecs heads look arguably African or Polynesian, BUT they look much more like the people that live in Veracruz today.
Very excited to announce a brand new LIVE Podcast series with my friend Jahannah James.

Have you seen these Megaliths before?
The Maya site of Quirigua, maybe one of my favorites, contains some of the largest, most intricately carved, & bizarre megaliths in all of the ancient world.
Every inch of Maya monuments are carved with iconographic images & hieroglyphs
Personally, I don’t see Atlantis being at the Richat Structure, BUT this man going out there for his 3rd time to conduct his own research is brave, admirable & I have a tremendous amount of respect for it.
Stay safe out there & take some photos of the night sky!🌌
Controversial opinion: I’ve often thought, I’d love to see any country with a numerous amount of World Heritage Sites, completely (& faithfully) reconstruct just one temple/structure.
