Scoop marks, some seemingly articulated or angled, at the granite quarry in Aswan. No signs of any fire use, if that were used we would see much more cracked surface granite. Microscopic photos we took appear to show no chisel or pounding marks, but further analysis is coming.

An ancient site in Greater Armenia called Zernaki Tepe shows some very interesting polygonal, megalithic masonry, also typical 'bow tie' joins seen in many other ancient sites (Egypt, Peru etc). A simple Google image search reveals its similarity to Sacsayhuaman, Menkaure pyramid

The replies to this tweet are full of some pretty hard mainstream copium. Exactly what I expected - questioning provenance (addressed), 'scenes on walls' (addressed), and that they existed throughout the dynastic civilization (false). Anything to avoid dealing with the data.

This is fascinating. How did a 5200 yo Egyptian civilisation with supposedly just flint adzes craft a vase that, as this video shows, is accurate, in one example, on two axis points, to within 1/17000th of an inch (0.001mm). That's better precision than our best industrial lathes

The quartzite outlet bowl for the so called ‘sewer system’ at the old kingdom site of Abu Sir. Channeled bock infrastructure runs all below the floor level and down the causeway here. Something more industrial perhaps? #megalithic #egypt

We couldn't possibly call it civilization... too many apple carts get upset, so let's just redefine hunter gatherer to include megalithic masonry, erecting huge stone circles with 10 ton pillars, detailed celestial observation and bas relief carving. Sure, ok.

Some archaeologists now believe that the 11,000-year-old stone circles at Göbekli Tepe in modern Turkey, with carved T-shaped limestone pillars, may have been built by Ice Age hunters resisting the dramatic shift to a settled agricultural way of life.

A closer look at one my favorite mind bender objects in the Cairo museum... this fine grano-diorite (i think) bowl is so precisely made it is balanced seemingly perfectly on its rounded tip.

Visited ancient and relatively unknown (until @shipibospirit shared it) Quenuani today, on the shore of lake Titicaca. It means 'facing the sun,' and is aligned due east. There are also andecite blocks here that may have been on their way to Tiwanaku.

Take a close look at this amazing ancient stone vase in the Egyptian museum. Note the thinness of the very hard material. I'm working on my next video which will explore these artifacts in detail.

Spent yesterday trawling through Karnak temple - the largest ancient temple complex still standing in the world. Impressive is an understatement. There is evidence here for some truly massive pieces, and some are still standing!

@Dan__Stevens Yeah, a mathematically designed (with 15 levels of interellation) and machined to 10 micron tolerance 'fake' made from granite with the magic technology of the mid 20th century, put into private collection, now... wait. Mission accomplished. Funny joke. World domination next.

Huge megalithic works of basalt at Sillustani. 10+ ton blocks strewn around like they were bowling pins, and nubs abound! What happened here??

Out to Abu Rawash today. Not a site open to the public, my first visit here. A famous machine block of granite that was examined by @chrispdunn , and down into the 18 meter pit. I think this was a pyramid, and has been heavily recycled, or quarried.
