Sad to hear of the passing of Donncha Ó Dúlaing, I remember him walking through Loughglynn many years ago. Saturday night driving with him on the radio "Failte Isteach" and letters from people all over Ireland and the world. And Gondal and company by the fire! A different time.

Today in 1920 Lt. Michael Glavey, Comdt Pat Glynn, Vol Michael Keane were killed by Crown forces in Ballinlough Co. Roscommon as they burned the Barracks. The 3 streets in village are now named after them and the GAA Club after Michael Glavey. #History
