1: Set realistic goals. This is the most basic and quite obvious one. And you might call me ridiculous for adding this in but if your sw is 205lbs/92kgs and your gw is 99lbs/45kgs your setting yourself up for failure. Set small goals and lower them as you continue.

going. 5: Think about why your doing this. I understand that giving in is quite common among ed’s, but why? Why should you end your progress now just because that cookie looks good. If you eat that cookie you have less a chance of losing.

8: PORTION. CONTROL. This one is so major. You can eat anything you want and still lose weight if your in a deficit!! You don’t need to omad. Have lunch, but only have half of it. Have dinner but only have half of it. Have a serving of rolo’s but only have half of it!!

11: Work out. Put on tight workout clothes. Not sweatpants. Then workout in front of a mirror. Or record yourself even. Don’t like what you see? Workout again. Workout til you physically and mentally can’t keep going anymore. Make sure it’s fun tho.😉

9: Think about all the people that are better then you. You saw a tweet about someone saying they just completed a 7 day fast, but you binged. Why? Get control of yourself. Complete an 8 day fast just to shove it in their face.

7: Take it one day at a time. Say you ate 200 over your limit, so what? You need to remember that you won’t gain from an extra 200 if your still in a deficit. Just try again harder the next day. Everything will be okay. If you really feel the need, just burn it off.

10: Distract yourself!! This is another big one because of literally how easy it is. Clean your room, work on homework, sleep, scroll on socials, binge a tv show, have a movie marathon, call a friend. So many things that could distract you from hunger.

12: Count your calories. I see a lot of people say that not counting your calories is better. And for them that might work. But if I don’t actually see how much i’m over my limit I will have 0 motivation to burn it off or even restrict at all. Do what works best for you.

15: Last but not least, watch people eat. Now I know this is not everyone’s cup of tea but me personally I like watching it. It not only gives me something to do to pass the time but it also sort of disgusts me. Like I think “if I ate like that I’d gain 10lbs/5kgs”.

14: Eat at your maintenance. I forget the actual word for it. I think most of us actually eating that much would make us feel very full. Go to the bathroom and look in the mirror. Look at how bloated you are. Do you want to look like that forever? (Also it helps you lose)
