The thing that bothered me a lot about this is that the person had no idea if this friend/their community was in a state where they were okay to take on such topics. Consent should always be key when it comes to rather heavy subjects like death, EDs, anxieties, and so much more.

The reason I tweeted about stop trauma dumping is that you are asking a lot for a stranger to take on. Some content creators welcome the trauma but a lot do not because once again, they are not trained/equipped with the resources to provide adequate support.

So make sure you ask first "Is it okay if I vent about a sensitive topic?" If that content creator says "No." then move on. Don't try to toe the line. Just move on and maybe reach out to someone who is trained in that area.

Seeing my friends starting to implement captions that embed into their VOD makes me so happy. 🥹 Twitch's caption extensions never translate to mobile or the TV and seeing more people embrace having captions in their streams like PixelChat or WebCaptioner makes it so accessible.
